This week started off with the first heavy snowfall we have had all year and ended with much of the same thing. I loved reading Katy Elliott’s post about her futile attempts to keep her sidewalks cleared in much snowier Massachusetts. Even better though was the link she provided for Peanut Butter Crispy Bars topped with chocolate. I can’t wait to give this recipe a try. With all of this snow on the ground, I couldn’t help but notice this beautiful calendar of full foliaged Toronto trees on one of my co-worker’s desk. I know what you’re thinking… trees + calendar, I’ve seen it before….but you should really check this project out. There is definitely some kind of love affair going on! Speaking of love affairs, thanks for all your comments about updating my blogroll. As Kelly commented it really is a hard task to do. It is definitely a work in progress so I will continue to add to it over time. Finally, I really enjoyed seeing Abbey’s house from Aesthetic Outburst over on sfgirlbybay. As you know I love a good house tour and Abbey’s was a delight to see.
I’ll leave you with a few images from a house I found over at Light Locations. Isn’t this pairing of minimal white kitchen with warm, worn wood floors and sculptural stools beautiful? And how about that sherbet coloured room with the expertly hung art arrangement. Wouldn’t you love a room like this in your house to escape to especially during the grey days of winter?
