you make it - laptop sleeve

diy laptop sleeve If you're like me, I'm sure you have a few sweaters lying in your closet collecting dust. You know, the ones you threw into the dryer by accident but can't seem to part with because it cost you a pretty penny. Or maybe you just love the pattern and have stored it away in the hopes that one day you'll find an amazing project to use it for. Well, I found the perfect reincarnation for this old wool sweater of mine. I found it at a thrift store last year but have never worn it because it was way too big and very unflattering. Honestly, I just loved the pattern. †I spotted it from afar and knew it had to be mine. The tag read Ralph Lauren, 100% lambswool and it was $3.00. †The wool is extremely thick and I knew I could transform it into something fun. It was much too thick to sew into mittens so I thought, why not a laptop sleeve? I would have loved to have used a bright fabric for the inside lining but because the wool was already so thick, it would have been impossible to sew on my machine. Something to keep in mind if you decide to tackle this yourself and want to add more colour! diy laptop sleeve Project by AMY DEL ROSARIO
