veronika's afraid of colour

Today's guest post is from the lovely and very talented Veronika of a few things from my life. Veronika is the creator of these wonderful, whimsical heart collages that have been featured all over the blogosphere and in Real Simple magazine. They are available through her online store Sarah & Bendrix. The above photographs were taken in Veronika's charming home in London. I fell in love with her home the first time I saw it. She has an amazing eye for hanging framed art vignettes.

Talented right? Now, that you've had a little glimpse of her (all white) home have a read of her guest post and see if you can imagine adding any colour to it!

Hi everyone! I'm Veronika, I live in London and blog over at a few things from my life. Today I have a few questions for you. I have to admit I'm afraid of color in my home. I love to see it somewhere else but when it comes to my home I seem to get stuck with very limited choices of white, beiges and grays. Light grays I have to add. I have been tempted to paint various walls in our house so many times, but have always changed my mind. Seven years ago I painted a wall in my flat deep red it lasted for six months! I know it's only a color but I've painted so many walls in the last ten years ( we've moved 12 times), I just don't want to repaint them again. So what about you? Have you got any fears or desires, unfulfilled dreams for your home? Are you afraid of anything when it comes to decorating your home? And finally who has got an all white home or who's got that bright blue wall?
