in the mood for some indigo

The best part about my job at Chatelaine are the shoots I get to conceive and carry out. I've had a crush on indigo for awhile now and figured it was time to do something on it for the magazine. With a team of very talented people, Reva Quam (craft stylist), Jennifer Evans (prop stylist) and Sian Richards (photographer) we created this beautiful bedroom. At one point or another we all commented on how much we wished this was our actual bedroom!

Reva created three items for our shoot: the indigo dyed wood handles, the ombre style rope and the shibori style throw pillows. We even created videos for each of these DIYS so you can give them a try yourself. Head over to Chatelaine to see each of the videos.
