I've always found the month of August a little bittersweet. There's a rush to capitalize on all things summery before the brisk winds of Autumn start filtering in. No matter how many years I've been out of school there's always a feeling come September that it is time to get back to work. This year I'm really trying to savour the last two weeks of August and drink in each moment as it comes.
Our garden is a bit of an overgrown mess at the moment! I think this is a type of Goldenrod which looks beautiful potted en masse.
Orla is starting to make herself right at home! More propped up than sitting up these days.
Impromptu family fun on a Sunday. Flying babies are the best.
Five days a week I drink these green smoothies which I get from a local business called Owl & Goose. The recipe changes slightly each day but usually consists of things like organic curly kale, organic rainbow chard, organic sunflower sprouts plus peaches or pears and filtered water. I feel like I'm doing something good for myself every time I drink one.
Speaking of green goodness, how lovely is this dress on my little girl!
Finally, I got busy this week with a do it yourself project that I will have all the details on next week. I'm super happy with the way it turned out.
What have you been up to this week? Enjoy your weekend!
