52 objects - no. 26

It's official, we're at the halfway point! A perfect time for a little reflection on why I started this project and where I am at. You might remember that I began this series thinking about would happen if someone stumbled upon a box of your possessions and tried to piece together a picture of who you were. What would the objects say about you? Would they give an accurate picture of your life? What I'm interested in is why we hold onto certain objects and not others. Is it the memories we associate with that object? The way an object reflects our social status? Or because we have forged a personal connection with something?

A side effect of this of course is an examination of where we spend our money on a daily basis.

Do you think your possessions tell a story of who you are?
