Before I get to this week’s photos I have an announcement to make. I’m going to take a little two week hiatus from blogging – a summer vacation so to speak. This is the first time in nearly three years that I have done this! I want to take some time to just be with my family and slow things down a little. I’m going to spend my time putting kisses on tiny cheeks and drinking in that baby smell that only lasts for so long.
I’ll still be updating my instagram, facebook, and twitter feeds so if you feel inclined head over to one of those places. I’ll be back the week of August 13th. Until then I hope you and your friends and family enjoy the summer.
Here’s my girl in another vintage dress. This one belonged to me and is from the early seventies.
An impromptu picnic in High Park. One of my favorite things to do in the summer time.
On site at a living room we are currently working on. Don’t you love that rug?
You all know how much I love fiddle leaf fig trees! Well, check out this massive specimen I spotted growing inside a greenhouse. So beautiful and lush.
I’m loving kale salads right now. This one has walnuts, dried cranberries and a lemon honey vinaigrette. Paired with wild salmon it’s a perfect dinner.
The kids. Myles and I have been getting a kick out of saying that! Sort of like when you first get married and all of a sudden you have a husband. Well, we know have kids – plural! And look at Orla sporting those polka dots!
Finally, I had to drop Orla off at Myles’ work the other day while I went to a meeting. What did they get up to? Photographing her tiny feet!
